Don't get me wrong plants and animals have great value. And the environment in which all life is contained has enormous worth, however, their has to be proper prioritization so as not dehumanize humans, nor to deny justice to those unable to speak for themselves.

Many activists risk arrest and prosecution for the sake of saving certain areas of land that they feel is to delicate to be intruded upon by corporations looking to build plants or other structures. Often times many of the same people do not want others to be able to peacefully protest in front of abortion clinics. I don't get it. Environmentalists protest industrial development on the grounds of "potential" destruction where as pro-life supporters protest on the grounds "actual" destruction.

When did it become good to fight for the preservation of trees and whales but bad to fight the for the preservation of human life? How is it now that the act of murdering an unborn living baby, literally by dissection, is protected by law, but hunting certain animals or bagging to many deer will get you a fine or jail time? Isn't that backwards? Society's priorities are out of order and thus what we have is injustice being institutionalized into our legal system. This is a direct result of the dehumanizing of babies in the embryonic and fetal stages of their human development. I have heard of these tiny people being called "just blobs of cells" and therefore they do not deserve to be designated as "living". But, the same folks eagerly acknowledge the existence of living, non human, unicellular life forms. That's backwards and hypocritical to say the least. As the world continues to moonwalk further away from God and His pure straight forward precepts, it will no doubt continue to slide into the bottomless pit of deception that it calls progression.

A man's possessions don't determine his worth

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. http://bible.us/Luke12.15.KJV

The Middle East Uprisings are a Muslim Thing

What do Tunisia, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Libya and Bahrain all have in common? Well, besides all being ruled by oppressive leaders who violently crackdown on those who participate in any form of dissension, and obviously that they are all Arab nations, the most common but somehow most overlooked link is that they are Muslim. This is a purposeful oversight by the media, that's an oxymoron right (purposeful oversight) :), to be politically correct and not offend the Muslim world. All these uprisings are because people, who happen to be Muslim, are sick and tired of being oppressed by other people, who happen to be Muslim as well. But is this really a co-inky-dink, an anomaly occurring in this moment of time, with this religion "of peace"? Of course not and that's why we see in each of these countries similar patterns of dictatorial authority with severely limited freedom of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, mass unrest and protest, and finally brutal force used to keep the citizenry in check. (Citizenry) I like that word. There was regime change in Tunisia and Egypt, Libya is in the midst of a civil war, and violent crackdowns taking place in Syria, Bahrain and Yemen. In all this turmoil and chaos the most striking fact that stands out to me is that this is pure Muslim on Muslim. Not Israel, not the great Satan (USA), not some outside infidels infringing on Islamic territory. No this is all Islam, it's a Muslim thing.
